Laredo host PONY Girls Softball World Series

The City of Laredo will be play host to tens of thousands visitors for the 2017 PONY Girls Softball World Series from July 18-22, 2017 of players, coaches, parents and visitors alike.

With over 100 teams from a great many states, and from countries such as Mexico and Aruba, we expect to provide a high-quality experience for all who visit our city.

Starting at Uni-Trade Stadium for the opening ceremony on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, PONY, (Protect Our Nation’s Youth), will play over 540 games during the four day tournament at four different city park sites, through our community. Additionally, PONY will have a “Champions League” game that is solely for special needs players during this event.

The City of Laredo welcomes the PONY league tournament and hope for its return next year. We wish all of the young athletes luck and hope that their experience is one of that will encourage their return. Laredo, let’s make our community shine!
