Vernon, no other location in the United States fetes our founding father, George Washington, with such gallant displays of patriotism with a carnival and two parades, the IBC Youth Parade Under the Stars and the Anheuser-Busch Washington’s Birthday Parade. Several events bring the past to life within the script of the Society of Martha Washington Colonial Pageant and Ball commemorating the first couple’s interaction in society of their time and the American Historical Theatre performance, as well.
