A bit more than a decade at the LCVB and five years leading this amazing group of people. Travel runs in my family with 3 generations of hospitality professionals. Promoting Laredo is my passion! I love travel (12 countries, 21 states and counting), dogs, hockey and food (check @laredofoodie for my culinary adventures).

Monica handles accounts payable, purchases, additional administrative tasks, and serves as the Advisory Committee liaison.
Born and raised in Laredo, she can handle the heat but not the few cold fronts that come through here.
Monica enjoys her family time at home while watching the Dallas Cowboys, NASCAR, Hallmark Channel and her DVR recordings.

I spend the majority of my time reaching out to local businesses in hopes of partnering up for online giveaways. Help me, help you! Want to partner up? Let me know. When I’m not awarding giveaway packages, it’s back to the ever popular “other duties as assigned.” Plus, I’m an excellent mom which places me at expert level everything.

Do you remember the Laredo Civic Center? Chances are your ran into me there. I began my time with the City of Laredo at the Civic Center, then moved on to City Hall and can now be found at the CVB. If anyone needs assistance with inventory or deliveries, you can count on me to help. In my free time, I juggle being a grandpa to my lovely granddaughter, spending time at the ranch and grilling while enjoying football.
