"Sonic Ecosystems" is the introduction to a new series of audiovisual exploration and live performance work by Rizu X supported on-site with visual installations by SEGVE.
It seeks to exhibit mainly the South Texas/ North of Mexico's natural habitat projecting recorded and archival video footage, displaying physical items with the use of a digital microscope joint by original electronic compositions, field recordings or samples of its fauna in contrast with the urban life for the reflection of the current cityscape as an immersive experience.
*ABOUT:
Lizett Montiel a.k.a. Rizu X is an audiovisual producer, composer and performer best known for her electronic music production and Live/DJ sets often accompanied by self-produced video visuals. She has released work and been featured locally and internationally.
Ricardo Segovia is the co-owner of Los Olvidados and multidisciplinary artist often working in different types of artistic expressions including music, experimental design, and art installations under SEGVE.
