Lolita’s Bistro – Culinary Scene

Lolita’s Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants in Laredo, their approach to the different ingredients they use is very unique. It is a combination of the old and the new, for example, their Tostaditas de Salpicon, remind me of my grandmother’s salpicon, but when I want something new and refreshing, they certainly don’t disappoint, with entrees like their Sesame Peanut Crusted Tuna.

With work from local artists hanging on the wall that adds to the ambiance, this bistro is perfect for any occasion, from a family gathering to a girls night out. Also I have to add, the staff provides great service from the moment you walk through the door.

A popular destination for lunch and dinner during the week, it is very well know for their weekend Brunch Menu. Enjoy a mango or strawberry mimosa with their delicious (my mouth is watering as I write!) Chicken and Waffles. But you want to get there early (Brunch begins at 11am) as the restaurant fills up pretty quickly. Does your party include one or two vegetarians? Don’t you worry! There are several delicious options like the Beet Carpaccio Salad. And for those with a sweet tooth I definitely recommend their Crepes.

So if you’ve never been, what are you waiting for! Lolita’s Bistro is located at 6950 McPherson Rd Suite C, Ph:956.568.5334.
