La Laredo Energy Arena is a first class, state-of the- art facility managed by SMG. This multipurpose facility has introduced affordable, family-oriented entertainment to the South Texas and Northern Mexico markets, including major concerts, sporting events, family and ice shows, conventions, trade shows, and civic events. With 32,000 square feet of continuous open floor space, the LEA has one of the largest indoor convention spaces in South Texas. The 178,000 square foot facility boasts a seating capacity of 10,000 with 14 luxury suites, six meeting rooms and a private club. The facility’s luxury suites include concierge service, a television, and seating for 12 to 14 people, among other amenities. The clubhouse level, which is on the same level as the luxury suites, features a bar overlooking the main floor. The MVP Lounge – located on the main concourse – has a full bar set in a “sports lodge” atmosphere with sofa seating, cable television, today’s music and more.

Square Footage:
The arena floor measures 85′ x 200′ (17,000 square feet) with all the dasher board inserted, and 126′ x 255′ (32,130 square feet) with all the risers retracted and the dasher boards removed. The Laredo Energy Arena has 27,000 square feet of floor space for a trade show.
Loading dock:
The loading dock is located on the West Side of the LEA off Sinatra Parkway. The arena is equipped with three truck docks and one ramp. The docks have a hydraulic lift dock plate.
Meeting Rooms:
There are a total of six meeting rooms. Four of the meeting rooms can be converted into two large rooms with approximately 1,360 square feet. Standard square footage of the meeting rooms is 620 square feet. The meeting rooms are located on the concourse.
Laredo Civic Center – 2400 San Bernardo Ave., Laredo, TX – 956-794-1700
The Laredo Civic Center offers spacious facilities for conventions, stage shows, trade exhibits, and social events. The complex consists of a large auditorium; a 24,470 square foot banquet and exhibit hall; and four meeting rooms. It is centrally located, accessible by IH-35, and minutes from historic downtown Laredo, the two international bridges, and the Laredo International Airport.

Auditorium:
The seating capacity of the facility is 1,979 with a permanent stage measuring 81 ft x 44 ft. It also boasts a 73 ft loft, 48 ft x 16 ft orchestra shell pit, excellent acoustics, four group dressing rooms and two star dressing rooms. The auditorium lobby has box office accommodations and a refreshment area.
Banquet and Exhibit Hall:
This 24,470 square foot space accommodates 1,200 banquet style and 1,500 theater style. The main hall is 120 ft x 80 ft with a ceiling of 17 ft. 10 in. The air-conditioned hall has full kitchen facilities, a public address system, light control equipment, and direct lighting. Unlimited floor load capacity, electrical outlets, tables and chairs, lecterns, movable platforms, dollies, four restrooms, utility units, and microphone connections.
Meeting Rooms:
These four rooms, each measuring 24 ft x 32 ft, can each accommodate up to 65 people classroom style. A folding door converts four rooms into one large room totaling 4,140 square feet with a seating capacity of 250 people banquet style or 300 theater style. The rooms also offer a portable stage, public address system, overhead lighting, chalk boards, projection screens, and internet access. Facility features paved parking with a 1,000 car capacity.

An integral part of one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation, Laredo’s Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) is a member of the Texas A&M University System. It is a primarily, state-assisted institution offering undergraduate, graduate or doctoral programs in the liberal arts and sciences, education and business, with a special focus on developing an international academic agenda for the State of Texas. TAMIU’s 300-acre campus in northeast Laredo is minutes from the Laredo International Airport, international bridges to Mexico, major hotels and shopping venues. It is the newest university campus constructed in Texas.

Conference Facilities:
The University enjoys a thriving conference schedule made possible by impressive facilities that include traditional and non-traditional room inventories and a popular planetarium that welcomed over 35,000 visitors in its first year of operation.
Student Center:
Student Center houses a ballroom, theatre and meeting rooms. The ballroom can be configured to hold banquets from 100 to 450 capacity, and lectures from 300 to 800 capacity. The theater can hold a maximum capacity of 186, while the conference rooms and meeting rooms can hold 20 and 40 each respectively.
Western Hemispheric Trade Center:
The University’s Western Hemispheric Trade Center is frequently home to national and international conferences. The ballroom can hold 350 capacity, the two auditoriums can hold 115 and 45 respectively, and the conference room can hold 25 capacity.
Center for the Fine and Performing Arts:
Includes the Recital Hall, gallery, black box theater and auditorium. The Center is home to the new Corrigan-Sharkey Pipe Organ, the only such organ in the South Texas region. The maximum capacity of the recital hall is 819.
The Lamar Bruni Vergara Memorial Garden:
Offers a lush setting for outdoor events and features a variety of native plants and tree-lined paths. Athletic facilities include multi-sport courts, fields and more meeting space. TAMIU Athletics participate as NCAA Division II members of the Heartland Conference.
Dustdevil Field
Dustdevil Field is one of the finest small college intercollegiate soccer fields in the region and has a covered bleacher seating area with a capacity of over 500. The Kinesiology Building hosts basketball and volleyball contests with a capacity of over 1,000. On-campus guest housing is also available at a reasonable daily/weekly fee.

Laredo Community College – Martinez Fine Arts Center – West End Washington St., Laredo, TX – 956-721-5330
At the end of World War II, the Laredo Independent School District created Laredo Junior College in 1947 on the site of historic Fort McIntosh to prepare returning soldiers for America’s new workforce. Since then, lives have been transformed and history has been made at Laredo Community College.
The Martinez Fine Arts Center is a state-of-the-art building for students in music, dance, art and theater classes to master their skills and showcase their talents. The center is filled with many innovative features that are available at no other educational institution south of San Antonio, TX. The auditorium seats 752 and has been used for student recitals, music and dance concerts, lecture presentations and other special events.

Established with assistance from the City of Laredo, the Laredo Center for the Arts hosts a variety of artistic and cultural events, including international art exhibitions, dance performances, art history lectures, musical performances, and art education classes for adults and children.
The Laredo Center for the Arts houses the Webb County Heritage Foundation and a gallery for the Laredo Art League. The Center manages three galleries: the Goodman Gallery, the Lilia G. Martinez Gallery and the Community Gallery which is dedicated to showing the work of local student artists. It also features a second level lecture hall.
